Senior Watch Designer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Watch Designer to join our innovative team at Expleo. In this remote position, you will play a crucial role in the reconstruction and updating of technical files for iconic watch components, enabling their restoration, maintenance, and industrialization. As a part of our dynamic R&D team, you will contribute to the technological transformation in the luxury goods sector.

What You'll Do

• Design and reconstruct comprehensive definition files: 3D models, plans, and associated data.
• Research technical definitions from archives and legacy systems.
• Verify the accuracy of data during its reuse.
• Participate in geometric, material, and assembly analyses.
• Identify technical needs related to refabrication.
• Propose definition evolutions and facilitate technical validations.
• Update technical documentation in data management systems.
• Utilize traceability and activity management tools (PLM, PDMLink, etc.).

Requirements

• Technical degree in mechanical engineering/microtechnology or equivalent in watch construction.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in construction, with confirmed experience in watch casing (case, bracelet, dial, etc.).
• Excellent mastery of Creo 4.0 (mandatory).
• Knowledge of PLM systems, ideally Windchill/PDMLink.
• Good understanding of machining, finishing, and assembly processes.
• Experience in the reconstruction or analysis of vintage components is a significant asset.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Immediate availability.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CAD software beyond Creo.
• Familiarity with the luxury watch market.
