Senior UX Designer - Remote Opportunity in Aerial Imagery Tech

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior UX Designer to join our team remotely. This Senior UX Designer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the user experience across a diverse portfolio of digital products in the aerial imagery technology sector. You will lead end-to-end design efforts, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver intuitive, impactful solutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead UX design projects from concept to completion, ensuring a seamless user experience across web and mobile platforms.
• Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create user-centered designs.
• Conduct usability testing and analyze data to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
• Translate complex user needs into elegant design solutions using your strong problem-solving skills.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance design practices.
• Develop and implement design systems to ensure consistency across products.
• Design for accessibility standards, ensuring inclusivity in all user experiences.

Requirements

• 7+ years of UX design experience with a robust portfolio showcasing web and mobile projects.
• Proficiency in Figma and other design tools.
• Deep knowledge of UX principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proven experience leading UX projects and working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills to translate complex needs into elegant design solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities.
• Experience with usability testing and data-driven design approaches.
• Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML/CSS) is a plus.

Nice to Have

• User research experience including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and feedback analysis.
• Experience developing and implementing design systems.
• Knowledge of geo-based imagery navigation, 3D model interaction, ESRI tools, Machine Learning/Computer Vision, or drone flight planning.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Designing for accessibility standards such as WCAG and Section 508.
