About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior UI/UX Designer - Remote to join our innovative team at Day 9's Game Studio. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the user experience of our games, ensuring that our designs are not only visually stunning but also user-friendly. As a remote team member, you will collaborate with other designers and developers to create engaging interfaces that enhance gameplay and user interaction.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design process for user interfaces and experiences across various gaming platforms.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to iterate on designs based on user feedback.
  • Develop and maintain design systems that ensure consistency across all products.
  • Work within an agile environment, participating in sprints and design reviews.
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of design excellence.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and final products.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
  • Experience in game design or working with real-time gameplay interfaces is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and design systems.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Unreal Engine and Blueprints.
  • Knowledge of localization processes for global game releases.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards in design.
