What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, integrate, and test software to operate quantum computing hardware.
  • Analyze use cases, investigate issues, and lead the development of components within our software stack.
  • Benchmark, profile, and optimize quantum computing processes, algorithms, and software.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of electronic engineers, physicists, and software developers.
  • Document and evaluate the systems you help design and maintain.
  • Take responsibility for major features within the Quantum Computing Software Stack.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development using Rust, C, or C++.
  • Experience in designing, developing, debugging, testing, and profiling commercial-quality software.
  • Strong collaborative skills and good communication abilities.
  • Experience in compiler development and algorithm optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with toolchain codebases such as LLVM or GCC.
  • Familiarity with Git and experience in collaborative design and code reviews.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Python and databases (SQL, time series).
  • Knowledge of Quantum Computing concepts and experience with Qiskit.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
