Senior Software Engineer - Frontend Leaning Full-Stack

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend Leaning, Full-Stack) to join our team at Voxel51. This remote role offers the opportunity to work on our innovative platform, FiftyOne, which is at the forefront of AI development and data management.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate on architecting, developing, and scaling new and existing functionality in the open-source and enterprise versions of FiftyOne.
• Write production code that is maintainable, extensible, performant, and well-tested.
• Support your teammates through code reviews, pairing, respectful debate, and feedback.
• Contribute to a thriving open-source project and community.
• Empower users to explore, visualize, and analyze massive visual unstructured datasets.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience developing maintainable and delightful systems.
• BS or MS in computer science or a related field.
• Expertise with Typescript / React.
• Proficiency with Python is a plus.
• A passion for UI and visualization.
• Experience working with 3D is a plus.
• Proven ability to work in a remote-first, collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with machine learning or AI projects.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools.
• Background in open-source contributions.
