About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (AI) to join our innovative team at a rapidly growing AI startup in Miami. This Senior Software Engineer remote position offers a unique opportunity to build from the ground up, earn early equity, and play a pivotal role in establishing Miami as a hub for AI technology.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development of an AI-driven SaaS platform focused on voice AI agents.
  • Utilize your expertise in Python and FastAPI to create scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with a talented team of engineers to shape the future of AI applications.
  • Implement and manage PostgreSQL databases and AWS cloud services.
  • Drive the development process from 0-1, taking full ownership of projects.
  • Work in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting to new challenges and technologies.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Python, particularly with FastAPI.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and cloud services like AWS.
  • Proven ability to build systems from scratch and take ownership of projects.
  • A genuine passion for AI and emerging technologies.
  • Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Cursor and Claude Code tools.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Previous involvement in AI-driven projects.
