Senior Security Engineer - Remote Opportunities Available

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join our dynamic team at BrainRocket. This remote Senior Security Engineer position offers the chance to work with a talented group of professionals dedicated to creating innovative tech products in the Fintech, iGaming, and Marketing sectors. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our infrastructure and ensuring the security of our systems across various locations including Belgrade, Lisbon, Sofia, Valencia, Warsaw, and Yerevan.

What You'll Do

• Manage security systems including DLP, XDR, and Network VPN gateways.
• Implement and maintain security control policies to enhance overall security.
• Continuously monitor network activity and system loads to identify potential threats.
• Respond to security incidents, providing support for the SOC team and coordinating incident response efforts.
• Prepare technical documentation for new security controls and system configurations.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration or information security roles.
• Advanced administration of macOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals relevant to security analysis.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as ISO27001, PCI DSS, and GDPR.
• Experience with EDR/XDR platforms and enterprise VPN solutions.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Experience with deployment and administration of IDS/IPS solutions.
• Familiarity with security solutions like PaloAlto and Digital Guardian.
