About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Safety Manager - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations while fostering a culture of safety across the organization. As a Senior Safety Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our safety protocols and training programs.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead safety training sessions for employees, enhancing their understanding of safety practices and compliance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to promote safety awareness and integrate safety into daily operations.
  • Analyze safety performance metrics and prepare reports for management to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage incident investigations and ensure timely reporting and follow-up on safety incidents.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries and concerns from employees and management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in safety management to continuously improve our safety initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in safety management, preferably in a remote work environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering safety training programs.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret safety data and metrics.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CIH) is preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in construction safety or industrial hygiene.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native network software and automated safety solutions.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and EHS principles.
