Senior QA Engineer - Remote Opportunity with Relocation Support

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our team at GigRadar.io, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our AI-powered growth engine. This Senior QA Engineer remote position comes with relocation support to beautiful Bali, Indonesia. Your mission is to break our product before our users do, ensuring that quality is non-negotiable.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute test strategies, maintaining and improving test plans, cases, scenarios, and checklists across web (React/TypeScript) and service layers (REST, GraphQL).
• Build and extend reliable Playwright/Puppeteer suites for regression, smoke, and performance testing, utilizing GitHub Actions for CI.
• Design adversarial prompt-injection and jailbreak scenarios for our Langfuse/OpenAI pipelines, validating guardrails, rate limits, and red-team exploits.
• Create Postman/code-level tests to rigorously validate our API endpoints and surface latent edge cases.
• Champion a quality culture by collaborating with developers on PRs, promoting shift-left testing, and converting bug reports into repeatable test artifacts.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on QA experience working on complex, production-grade software systems.
• Automation-first mindset, with a strong understanding of QA fundamentals including test design techniques and defect lifecycle.
• Ability to perform deep manual testing by reasoning about system state, data integrity, and edge conditions.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs with hands-on experience validating API behavior beyond the UI.
• Excellent documentation skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript or similar programming languages.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Puppeteer, or Cypress.
• Familiarity with GraphQL testing and CI/CD environments (GitHub Actions, Vercel).
• Interest or early experience in testing LLM-powered features or AI workflows.
• Basic performance or load testing exposure (k6, Artillery, etc.).
