Senior QA Automation Engineer - Trading Platform

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, focusing on automation to enhance efficiency and reduce test cycles.
• Estimate test efforts, analyze results, and communicate findings effectively within the QA team.
• Maintain and improve existing test frameworks, tools, and technologies to uphold high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with Development, Test, and Product Management teams to design and implement robust test and validation strategies.
• Execute and manage test cases, reporting on metrics related to test performance and defects.
• Create, execute, and troubleshoot automated test scenarios across various systems.
• Contribute to the development of scalable and high-quality test automation solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Participate in building a Continuous Integration (CI) environment and drive ongoing process improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Backend server system QA, with a preference for experience in Algorithmic trading QA.
• Familiarity with mobile and web testing, along with automated testing techniques throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with frameworks such as TestNG, Appium, Selenium, and Cucumber.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, particularly in Java and/or Python.
• Understanding of software design principles, algorithms, data structures, and multi-threading concepts.
• Ability to translate functional requirements into working test plans and cases.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and strong customer focus.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Some knowledge of continuous integration practices, preferably using CircleCI.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Ability to work across Windows and Linux environments.
