What You'll Do

• Lead the design process for policy-related features, ensuring a user-centered approach.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for various platforms.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform design strategies.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the overall design culture at GitLab.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in designing for web and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience with accessibility standards and best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic front-end development.
