Senior .NET Software Developer - 100% Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior .NET Software Developer to join our team at Akkodis. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the United States. As a Senior .NET Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in our agile development team, contributing your expertise in .NET, C#, SQL, and APIs to deliver high-quality software solutions.

What You'll Do

• Contribute as a senior technical resource on a cross-functional, agile development team, collaborating with developers, quality assurance, and business analysts.
• Build technical expertise in specific domains within our platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Implement system features that fit into the enterprise platform ecosystem, contributing to design decisions and documentation.
• Collaborate with the Product team to ensure requirements are understood and business objectives are met.
• Deliver regular code contributions aligned with User Stories and sprint goals, ensuring compliance with system performance goals.
• Think with a security-first mindset and take ownership of problems and solutions.
• Participate in unit testing and collaborate with QA resources for successful functional and regression testing.
• Provide innovative problem-solving skills, thinking outside the box to enhance our software solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
• 7 to 10 years of experience as a software developer, primarily using C#.
• Excellent programming, debugging, and troubleshooting skills with C# and .NET.
• 3+ years of experience in a senior technical role, with enterprise-level system architecture experience.
• Experience designing and delivering RESTful APIs and integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud services, preferably Azure, and experience with CI/CD pipelines supporting Infrastructure as Code (IAC).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and collaboration capabilities.
• Experience working on large software development projects across multiple agile teams.

Nice to Have

• Commercial Property and Casualty insurance experience.
• Practical working knowledge of ASP.NET MVC and .NET Core.
• Experience with TypeScript and SPA frameworks (Angular, React, etc.).
