About the Role

Join our projects as a Senior Marine Installation Engineer in a remote capacity. At Nexans, our global vision is to electrify the future, and as a Senior Marine Installation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, engineering, and fabricating the world's best cables.

What You'll Do

• Lead a multidiscipline project team focusing on Marine Installation activities.
• Oversee the planning and scheduling of marine operations and ensure timely deliverables.
• Interface regularly with clients on technical matters, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
• Develop and be responsible for technical solutions relevant to marine installation engineering.
• Participate in Quality and HSE activities to maintain high standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project-driven businesses, preferably in offshore installation or subsea operations.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently and in teams.
• Excellent analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English; Norwegian language skills are a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with installation analyses.
• Familiarity with subsea cables and offshore wind projects.
• Previous experience in a combined office, site, and offshore work environment.
