Senior Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & DevOps Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & DevOps Lead to join our team at GMV. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, where you will leverage your strong technical leadership skills and deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code to guide architectural decisions and ensure operational excellence. As a Senior IaC & DevOps Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our projects while working closely with clients to meet deployment, security, and operational requirements.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the project’s Infrastructure as Code, ensuring end-to-end automation and reproducible deployments.
• Participate actively in client meetings, providing expert guidance on architectural and operational decisions.
• Design and implement IaC architecture across multi-cloud, hybrid, or on-premise environments.
• Ensure full automation of the infrastructure lifecycle, from provisioning to maintenance.
• Enforce consistent DevOps practices, including CI/CD, quality controls, automated testing, GitOps, and integrated security.
• Coordinate with development, operations, cybersecurity, and networking teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Requirements

• Expert-level experience with Terraform (HCL), including modules, workspaces, state management, and CI/CD integration.
• Strong background in Ansible, with experience in roles, playbooks, dynamic inventories, and orchestration.
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of IaC testing tools such as terratest, checkov, tflint, and ansible-lint.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Professional experience with at least one major cloud provider and understanding of hybrid environments with virtualization technologies (VMware, OpenStack).

Nice to Have

• Experience in designing reproducible, immutable, and modular infrastructures.
• Familiarity with artifact management and semantic versioning.
