Senior Graphic Designer - Financial Services Remote

About the Role

PEG Staffing is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer remote to join our financial client for a 6-month fully remote contract opportunity. This role sits within a Design Strategy team focused on business innovation, strategy, human-centered research, and experience design. The team partners closely with internal business units as internal consultants to improve the experience of Financial Advisors and their support staff.

Through research and collaboration, the team works to understand advisor and staff needs, translate those needs into actionable insights, and design new processes, services, policies, communication materials, and digital prototypes. In some cases, the team delivers final artifacts; in others, it provides the strategy and roadmap that downstream teams execute.

This Senior Graphic Designer remote position is open due to team growth and increased demand for visual design support across strategic initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Design a wide range of visual communication assets, including web pages, brochures, logos, one-pagers, posters, reports, and high-fidelity visual assets.
• Translate complex business and strategic concepts into clear, compelling visual narratives, reflecting a high bar for craft and storytelling.
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand objectives, shape design direction, and deliver solutions aligned with strategic goals.
• Create and refine visual assets with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and brand consistency.
• Produce iterative drafts and prototypes, present work clearly, incorporate feedback, and pivot effectively as direction evolves.
• Support storytelling for strategic initiatives by visually communicating frameworks, recommendations, and end-user guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional graphic design experience, with demonstrated senior-level visual craft and storytelling.
• 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry, designing for business, strategy, or advisor-facing audiences.
• Portfolio required demonstrating conceptual thinking, visual craft, storytelling, and experience translating business or strategic content into clear communications.

Nice to Have

• Experience with additional design tools or methodologies.
• Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles.
• Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance.
