Senior Golang Developer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Golang Developer to join our innovative team at CI&T. This Senior Golang Developer remote position allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to exciting projects in the entertainment sector. You will design scalable and resilient services, ensuring high performance and stability for our clients.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Golang.
• Anticipate performance and architectural issues, proactively addressing them.
• Reduce technical debt and elevate the technical standards of the team.
• Act as a technical reference for backend development.
• Participate in architectural decision-making processes.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers.

Requirements

• Solid experience in backend development with Golang as the primary stack.
• Deep understanding of concurrency (goroutines, channels, context).
• Experience building high-performance REST APIs.
• Ability to design resilient and scalable services.
• Experience with high-volume systems (thousands/millions of requests) and latency optimization strategies.
• Proficiency in database modeling for performance and scalability with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases.
• Practical experience with microservices in production, including consistency, fault tolerance, observability, monitoring, and distributed tracing.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of scalable authentication and authorization design (OAuth2, JWT).

Nice to Have

• Experience with advanced caching strategies (distributed Redis).
• Familiarity with rate limiting, circuit breakers, and application profiling/tuning.
