About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Front End Developer specializing in Android to join our customer’s team. This remote position offers the opportunity to create high-quality, visually appealing Android interfaces using Kotlin while actively engaging with AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor to enhance developer workflows.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and refine application components using Kotlin for Android.
  • Implement new features and ensure seamless integration across mobile and web platforms.
  • Test alpha AI models in Cursor, providing structured feedback on real-world coding scenarios.
  • Document and submit incident reports, bug traces, and screenshots of AI model issues.
  • Collaborate via Slack with research and engineering teams to improve AI-assisted workflows.
  • Participate in post-testing surveys to provide actionable insights and recommendations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional frontend/UI development experience with strong expertise in Kotlin.
  • Proven ability to deliver pixel-perfect, visually polished, and intuitive Android user interfaces.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and thoroughness in feedback.
  • Demonstrated experience with layout fixes, style refactoring, and implementing the latest UI/UX trends.
  • Enthusiasm for hands-on coding, rapid prototyping, and AI-driven development workflows.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and capable of collaborating effectively in a remote environment.

  • Contributions to open-source projects, GitHub repositories with stars, or a strong personal development portfolio.
  • Experience providing actionable product or workflow feedback to engineering or research teams.
