We are seeking a Senior Flight Test Engineer to join our innovative team at Anduril Industries. What You'll Do

• Lead and conduct flight testing for Small UAS/Quadcopter systems, focusing on electronics, avionics, and propulsion.
• Develop test plans and establish measures of success for various test activities.
• Analyze test performance data to drive process improvements and ensure quality at scale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system-level testing and qualification.
• Utilize strong software and documentation skills to maintain accurate records of testing activities.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding test results and recommendations.
• Travel as required for planning and conducting tests.
• Maintain a security clearance and adhere to all safety protocols during testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in flight test engineering, specifically with sUAS.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• Strong understanding of the National Airspace System and UAS operating regulations.
• Experience with energetics and explosive hazard handling is preferred.
• Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and apply them effectively.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work extended hours and travel as needed.

Nice to Have

• Experience with advanced avionics and sensor technologies.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications in flight testing.
• Previous roles in defense technology or aerospace industries.
