About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Engineering Leader for our AI-Powered RevOps Team at Kernel. This role is pivotal in shaping our engineering strategy and leading a high-performing team. As a Senior Engineering Leader, you will play a crucial role in driving our engineering delivery while contributing to our mission of providing AI-powered data solutions for enterprise RevOps teams.

What You'll Do

• Build, hire, and develop a high-performing engineering team focused on AI-driven solutions.
• Set technical direction and make architecture decisions that align with our product vision.
• Own engineering delivery with an emphasis on velocity and quality.
• Collaborate closely with Product on roadmap and prioritization to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Contribute code when necessary to stay connected with the product and team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of hiring and developing strong engineering talent.
• Strong background in building and scaling production systems.
• Experience with distributed systems and operating autonomously in high-velocity environments.
• Familiarity with AI-driven or data-heavy products is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience scaling an engineering team through a growth phase.
• Technical depth across the stack: AWS, NodeJS, TypeScript, Postgres.
• Understanding of LLMs and CRM data models.
