About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team at TRM Labs, a leading blockchain intelligence company. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our mission to build a safer world by transforming noisy on-chain activity into reliable attribution signals at scale. What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and operate data infrastructure and services for attribution expansion.
  • Collaborate with blockchain experts, data scientists, and software engineers to develop robust data models.
  • Implement high-throughput data pipelines that ensure TRM’s attribution remains trustworthy and operationally solid.
  • Standardize algorithm implementation and modeling in data for reusability and testability.
  • Enhance developer experience through improved tooling, templates, and CI/CD practices.

Requirements

  • Proficient in SQL and Python, with strong coding skills.
  • Experience with Airflow and handling large datasets in production environments.
  • Broad knowledge of data modeling, distributed processing, and data warehousing solutions.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Spark, Flink, dbt, BigQuery, and Kubernetes.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and navigate complex problems effectively.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with machine learning infrastructure and tools like MLflow or Feast.
  • Interest in virtual currencies and blockchain analysis.
