About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our dynamic team at VirtueTech Recruitment Group. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while driving critical security initiatives aligned with ISO 27001 standards.
What You'll Do
- Represent the cyber security function in senior stakeholder forums, providing leadership across daily operations and strategic initiatives.
- Own and drive core cyber defense activities, including security incident response, enterprise and third-party risk assessments, and vulnerability management.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to prioritize and deliver remediation efforts effectively.
- Shape and strengthen the organization’s cyber maturity by leading ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials compliance efforts.
- Enhance access and privileged access controls, contributing to cyber resilience, disaster recovery, and continuity planning.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst, with a focus on ISO 27001 compliance.
- Strong understanding of security incident response and risk management frameworks.
- Experience in vulnerability management and third-party assurance processes.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to operate autonomously and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
- Experience with Cyber Essentials framework.
- Knowledge of emerging cyber threats and trends.
