About the Role

As a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer II, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement, waste removal, and cost reduction, making this a pivotal role in our organization.
What You'll Do
- Identify and implement continuous improvement events using Lean Six Sigma tools.
- Plan, facilitate, and execute Kaizen events on the production floor.
- Teach and coach cross-functional teams on Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Evaluate and prioritize potential improvements based on gains and required effort.
- Establish a clear implementation plan and criteria for project success.
- Resolve technical problems related to equipment, product formulation, and regulations.
- Conduct detailed analysis to accurately describe current issues and specify deliverables.
- Regularly monitor the implementation of solutions to achieve objectives and expected benefits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree in management or operations preferred.
- Black Belt or Shainin Journeyman certification required; Master Blackbelt preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement roles.
- Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work in fast-paced and changing environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience in project management.
- Familiarity with 5S and Value Stream Mapping.
- Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making.
