Senior CI Pipeline Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior CI Pipeline Engineer to join our team at Aledade, where you will play a crucial role in shaping our CI/CD vision. As a Senior CI Pipeline Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and evolving our "Universal Pipeline" initiative, ensuring that our delivery speed and compliance posture grow in tandem as Aledade scales. This Senior CI Pipeline Engineer remote position will allow you to lead the development of automation and guardrails, ensuring that every deployment is HIPAA-compliant by default.

What You'll Do

• Architect and implement scalable CI/CD solutions that enhance our developer experience.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to develop and execute technical roadmaps using Agile methodologies.
• Mentor junior engineers through thorough code reviews and constructive feedback.
• Build automation tools and frameworks that simplify complex cloud interactions for product engineers.
• Integrate security and compliance checks into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure adherence to SOC2, SOX, and HIPAA standards.
• Optimize build performance through intelligent caching and parallelization techniques.
• Instrument the delivery platform to track key metrics such as Deployment Frequency and Lead Time for Changes.
• Design modular, reusable CI/CD templates that standardize deployment patterns across diverse technology stacks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on CI/CD infrastructure.
• 3+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
• Proven track record of acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team environment.
• Experience coaching engineers on testing strategies and pipeline integration.

Nice to Have

• Expertise in Terraform or Pulumi for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience building ephemeral test environments using Kubernetes or Docker.
• Proficiency in integrating security gates into the CI/CD flow.
• Knowledge of managing sensitive credentials and access for CI/CD runners in cloud environments.
