Senior C++ Developer - High-Performance Database Systems

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior C++ Developer to join our team at DIGIPAL, a software delivery agency specializing in high-performance database systems. What You'll Do

• Work directly with the PostgreSQL core codebase, contributing to database enhancements and optimizations.
• Solve petabyte-scale analytics challenges using Greenplum’s Massively Parallel Processing (MPP) architecture.
• Design, develop, and optimize distributed systems, queries, and parallel processing pipelines.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability across the data platform.
• Collaborate closely with experienced engineers on complex database and system-level problems.
• Contribute to enterprise-grade technology supporting analytics, AI/ML workloads, and large-scale data pipelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in software engineering or database systems.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and system-level programming.
• Experience with distributed systems, parallel processing, or high-performance computing.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL internals or similar database technologies is highly desirable.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Greenplum or other MPP databases.
• Exposure to analytics, AI/ML workloads, or large-scale enterprise data systems.
• Knowledge of query optimization and database performance tuning.
