Senior Application Solution Architect - AWS Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Application Solution Architect - AWS Remote to join our dynamic team at Collabera. This role is pivotal in supporting pre-sales and application modernization initiatives on AWS. As a client-facing expert, you will assist customers in transforming legacy applications into cloud-native solutions, define technical roadmaps, and enhance the sales process with your robust technical expertise.

What You'll Do

• Engage with customers to understand their business needs, technical challenges, and modernization goals.
• Design high-level AWS architectures and future-state solutions tailored to client requirements.
• Support RFP/RFI responses by providing technical documentation, SOWs, and effort estimates.
• Build and present Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and solution demonstrations to stakeholders.
• Guide clients through application modernization strategies utilizing the AWS 6Rs framework.
• Transform monolithic applications into microservices and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services like Lambda, EKS, and ECS.
• Define phased migration and modernization roadmaps to ensure seamless transitions.
• Provide insights on DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation best practices.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of IT experience, with at least 4+ years as a Solution Architect.
• Hands-on experience in modernizing legacy applications, particularly with Java, .NET, and Mainframe technologies.
• Strong background in designing AWS-based solutions and architectures.
• Required: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
• Preferred: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or AWS Certified Security – Specialty certifications.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for this pre-sales and customer-facing role.

Nice to Have

• Experience with container orchestration and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
