About the Role
We are seeking a Senior AI/ML Solutions Engineer - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, building, and deploying secure software and data systems that enhance mission operations, analytics, and simulation environments. As a Senior AI/ML Solutions Engineer, you'll leverage your expertise to develop scalable solutions and integrate various technologies to meet mission objectives effectively.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement APIs and data pipelines for mission applications.
- Develop software using Java, Python, C++, or TypeScript/Angular.
- Write clean and maintainable code following secure coding practices.
- Build modular microservices to enhance scalability and interoperability.
- Deploy containerized cloud-native services using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Contribute to secure deployments across hybrid or disconnected environments.
- Develop distributed systems using message buses like Kafka or Redis.
- Collaborate to ensure interoperability across software ecosystems.
- Manage databases and model complex data relationships.
- Integrate AI/ML outputs into runtime systems.
Requirements
- 6-10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience with DevSecOps or ATO/RMF processes.
- Strong full-stack or systems engineering background.
- Proficiency in languages like Java, Python, C++, or TypeScript/Angular.
- Experience using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- In-depth understanding of distributed systems and message buses.
- Experience integrating analytics and AI models into production systems.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and willing to obtain a security clearance.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
