Senior AI-Assisted React Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior AI-Assisted React Engineer to join our team at Altamira Technologies. This remote position offers the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge web platform for aircraft maintenance programs, utilizing AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and efficiency. As a Senior React Engineer, you will play a crucial role in modernizing our frontend architecture while collaborating closely with backend engineers to ensure a seamless integration of systems.

What You'll Do

• Lead the frontend modernization effort by building a modern React web UI that achieves full functional parity with the legacy system.
• Utilize AI coding tools such as Copilot and Cursor to generate components, tests, and refactor logic effectively.
• Integrate with .NET RESTful APIs, handling data fetching, caching, and error states.
• Support the migration from legacy PHP-rendered frontend to React, ensuring business logic is preserved.
• Write component and integration tests using React Testing Library and Vitest/Jest to ensure quality and performance.
• Deliver features in staged increments, supporting the migration of existing system data.
• Build responsive and consistent user interfaces using modern styling approaches like Tailwind CSS.
• Share knowledge and best practices with teammates to foster a culture of AI-assisted development.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in modern React, including functional components, hooks, and lifecycle methods.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience with state management libraries such as Redux Toolkit.
• Experience with React Query, SWR, or Axios for API integration.
• Demonstrable daily use of AI-assisted tools for generating components and refactoring.
• Proficiency in modern CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Styled Components.
• Ability to design scalable component architectures and write effective tests.

Nice to Have

• Experience with .NET technologies and backend integration.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and AI tools.
• Previous experience in the aviation or aerospace industry.
