Security Program Manager - Remote Position
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Security Program Manager to join the Defense Information Systems Agency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to advance your career in cybersecurity while working remotely. As a Security Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying security education and training requirements, conducting annual reviews, and ensuring compliance with DOD and DISA policies.
What You'll Do
- Identify security education and training requirements and conduct annual reviews using DOD and DISA policies.
- Plan, develop, and perform program evaluations for security program areas such as Security Education, Training, and Awareness.
- Review and interpret legislation, Executive Orders, and national policies to determine applicability and required implementation.
- Advise Agency managers on new developments in security processes, methods, techniques, systems, and devices.
- Provide guidance to security specialists on policy interpretation, problem resolution, and application of new techniques.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must obtain a favorable suitability review and security clearance.
- Experience in developing security education, training, and awareness plans.
- At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service.
- Ability to demonstrate competencies necessary for the position.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Information Security (INFOSEC), Operations Security (OPSEC), and Physical Security.
- Knowledge of Anti-Terrorism Training and Emergency Management.
- Familiarity with the Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) program.
