About the Role

What You'll Do
- Provide leadership and oversight for business and programmatic operations, ensuring each team has the necessary resources.
- Support technical and project leads to execute complex technical and operational scopes on projects.
- Develop and implement tactical plans and schedules to ensure stable funding and facilitate on-time project execution.
- Manage risks throughout the assigned portfolio and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, providing regular project updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a science, engineering, or related field.
- 2-5 years of program management experience in scientific or engineering contexts.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to develop and nurture internal relationships and interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Critical thinking skills to support negotiations and resolve conflicts.
Nice to Have
- Active DOE "Q" or other Top-Secret clearance.
- Formal project management training or education.
- Knowledge of industry-standard financial policies and principles.
- Experience with Weapons Engineering and Weapons Physics organizations.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
