About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Technical Customer Support Representative to join our dedicated team at Froonze. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with technical issues related to our Shopify tools. If you possess basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills, we encourage you to apply. As a small team of four, we value initiative and creativity, allowing you to shape your role to bring value to our company.

What You'll Do

  • Communicate with customers via live chat or email to resolve technical issues.
  • Continuously learn about our app's features and the Shopify ecosystem to provide effective support.
  • Summarize product feedback from merchants and suggest improvements.
  • Perform manual app tests for new feature releases.
  • Handle non-CS tasks such as researching tools, writing blog posts, and creating mockups based on your skills and interests.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for problem-solving.
  • Ability to handle challenging customer interactions with professionalism.
  • Willingness to write technical documentation and articles.
  • Availability for at least a 4-hour overlap with GMT+7, between 9 AM and 6 PM.

Nice to Have

  • Deep knowledge of SEO and experience with technical writing.
  • Experience working with Shopify, especially in theme development/customization.
  • Basic video production skills for creating technical screencasts.
  • UI/UX design skills and experience with Reddit marketing.
  • Additional languages, particularly French, Spanish, or Italian.
