About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Software Engineering Team Lead to join our innovative team at bloXroute Labs. In this pivotal role, you will lead a small team of blockchain core experts focusing on MEV services and mempool transactions for BSC. As a Remote Software Engineering Team Lead, you will create offerings that leverage the profit validators gain while developing solutions for searchers. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a cutting-edge field and make a significant impact in the blockchain ecosystem.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a small team of blockchain core experts, focusing on MEV services and mempool transactions for BSC.
  • Create offerings that leverage the profit validators gain while developing solutions for searchers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize performance across blockchain applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support blockchain best practices and solutions.
  • Provide insights on best practices when working with validators and traders in regards to BSC.
  • Play a pivotal role in increasing productivity, growth, and engagement for the team.
  • Work on special data analysis projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in managing an engineering team.
  • At least 5 years of experience designing, building, testing, and implementing highly scalable and distributed backend systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in blockchain technology.
  • 2+ years of experience specifically in Blockchain MEV.
  • Experience with ETH or BSC MEV, including mev-boost and PBS.
  • Expertise in using the Go programming language.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A creative, independent, can-do attitude, with the ability to take ownership of overall responsibilities and be a great team player.
  • Ability to read and modify blockchain core code (geth, bor, prysm, etc.).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with additional blockchain platforms.
  • Familiarity with decentralized finance (DeFi) applications.
  • Knowledge of smart contract development.
