About the Role
Join us as a Remote Social Media Intern in the Koch Internship Program for Summer 2026! This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management while working with the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE). As a Remote Social Media Intern, you will engage with our audience and help promote the principles of free markets and economic freedom.
What You'll Do
- Assist in developing and maintaining FEE’s voice on social media platforms such as X and LinkedIn.
- Create original content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and X to engage our audience effectively.
- Automate responses on social media communities to enhance engagement.
- Provide administrative support to the social media team, ensuring smooth operations.
- Utilize Monday.com for task tracking, project coordination, and managing content calendars.
Requirements
- Majors in Journalism, Communications, English, Economics, or Political Science preferred but not required.
- Strong interest in social media content creation and digital storytelling.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and familiarity with project management tools.
Nice to Have
- Ability to think creatively and adapt to trends in social media.
- Comfortable appearing on camera for short-form video content.
- Spanish proficiency is a plus.
