About the Role
We are seeking a Remote Site Reliability Engineer to join Bobsled, a company dedicated to building AI-powered analytics experiences. In this role, you will ensure our customers’ deployments are robust, contextually tuned, and delivering measurable value. As a Remote Site Reliability Engineer, you will be pivotal in maintaining and improving our multi-cloud environment, which includes platforms like GCP, AWS, Azure, Cloudflare, Snowflake, and Databricks.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable infrastructure using modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices such as Terraform and Pulumi.
- Drive the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of Bobsled's data-sharing platform.
- Collaborate closely with European engineers to ensure seamless integration and performance of our systems.
- Assess engineering candidates and contribute to shaping our team culture.
- Apply your expertise to solve complex technical and business challenges.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
- Ability to work in Central Time (CT) or Eastern Time (ET) zones.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data analytics platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
