Remote Senior Software Engineer - SEO & Data Engineering Focus

About the Role

We are looking for a Remote Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the chance to significantly impact our technical search visibility initiatives, driving organic traffic and enhancing customer experience across millions of web pages. As a key member of the MET team, you will lead end-to-end projects, mentor junior engineers, and shape technical strategies that align with business goals.

What You'll Do

• Lead complete SEO and AEO projects independently with minimal guidance.
• Design, build, and ship high-quality full-stack features to enhance search engine visibility.
• Architect scalable solutions applying technical knowledge to optimize search rankings.
• Design and maintain efficient data pipelines for SEO and AEO.
• Partner with Marketing and Product stakeholders to influence technical direction.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of software engineering experience with proficiency in React, Ruby, Python, PostgreSQL, and SQL.
• Proven ability to lead projects end-to-end including architecture design and implementation.
• Experience with distributed systems and data engineering practices.
• Ability to design for performance, scalability, and robustness.
• Excellent communication skills and experience mentoring engineers.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools.
