About the Role

We are looking for a Remote Senior Python Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Bloomreach. This role is pivotal as we build the world's premier agentic platform for personalization, revolutionizing how businesses connect with their customers. As a Senior Python Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing and deploying AI agents that personalize the entire customer journey, making product discovery intuitive and conversational.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, maintain, and test Python backend services that power multi-cloud data exports.
  • Own and evolve multi-cloud export pipelines integrating with AWS S3, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob Storage, and SFTP.
  • Focus on resilience, observability, and performance in your engineering practices.
  • Handle large volumes of customer data and ensure the integrity and security of data exports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our analytics platform and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Python software development, with a strong focus on backend systems.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems and computer science fundamentals.
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Proven track record of building scalable and resilient backend services.
  • Ability to work remotely within the Central European Time Zone (CET).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools.
