About the Role

We are hiring a Remote Senior Engineering Manager to lead our talented engineering team at Splice. As a key player in our organization, you will help shape the future of music technology by developing innovative solutions that empower music creators worldwide.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a full-stack team of engineers to design and implement new features for our music production platform.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to define project scope and deliver high-quality software.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and direct communication within the engineering team.
  • Mentor and guide engineers in their professional development, promoting a growth mindset.
  • Drive engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
  • Engage with the broader Splice community to gather feedback and iterate on product features.
  • Report directly to the Director of Engineering, contributing to strategic planning and execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong background in full-stack development, with proficiency in modern web technologies.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Passion for music and an understanding of the digital music landscape.
