About the Role
Team Rubicon is seeking a Remote Senior Associate - Institutional Giving to join our Development x Institutional Giving team! As a Senior Associate, you will play a critical role in advancing our strategic fundraising goals while fostering meaningful relationships with our passionate donor base. This Remote Senior Associate - Institutional Giving position requires navigating complex organizational structures, budgets, and calendars to inform proposals, access grant opportunities, and ensure high-quality, timely, and accurate reports.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet institutional giving goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing donors.
- Research and identify grant opportunities that align with Team Rubicon's mission.
- Prepare and submit grant proposals that effectively communicate our impact and needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and insights for proposals.
- Monitor and evaluate grant performance and prepare reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with grant requirements and deadlines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall strategy of the Development team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in grant writing or institutional giving.
- Strong understanding of nonprofit fundraising strategies and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in navigating complex organizational structures.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
