Remote Senior Analyst - Security Compliance

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Senior Analyst in Security Compliance to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our security compliance frameworks are robust and effective. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks and implement necessary controls, contributing to the overall security posture of our organization.

What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design and implement security controls.
• Lead audit readiness initiatives and manage audit cycles effectively.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving security compliance processes.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure the organization adheres to them.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security compliance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP.
• Experience with security engineering and audit management.
• Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams.

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as CISSP or Security+.
• Experience in cloud security and compliance in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with DOD IL2-5 compliance requirements.
