About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Safety, Security, and Compliance Auditor to join our innovative team at Aero. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of safety and compliance. You will be responsible for conducting internal audits across all company operations, contributing to our mission of redefining air travel.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, prepare, and perform Internal Evaluation Program (IEP) audits in accordance with Aero’s Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Conduct compliance monitoring and audits related to OSHA, DOT Drug and Alcohol Program, and Security Program.
  • Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations and corporate policies.
  • Document audit results, identify non-conformities, and create comprehensive reports.
  • Analyze IEP data trends to identify risks and recommend improvements to safety and security leadership.
  • Communicate findings effectively with organizational leadership at all levels.
  • Monitor and verify corrective actions for audits and FAA inspection findings.
  • Support regulatory compliance duties and special investigations as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in IEP or aviation compliance auditing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must hold a valid US passport or permanent residency.
  • FAA licensed airman (Commercial/ATP), A&P, or Dispatcher.
  • Must pass a TSA Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).

Nice to Have

  • 4-year degree in an aviation-related field.
  • Experience in operations, airworthiness, or quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of applicable CFRs, OpSpecs, and FAA regulations.
  • Experience with auditing to IS-BAO or AR/GUS standards.
