About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Risk Analyst to join our dynamic team at Xplor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying and mitigating risks associated with our operations, ensuring the integrity of our services. As a Remote Risk Analyst, you will work closely with various departments to analyze data, develop strategies, and implement policies that enhance our risk management framework.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in our systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to monitor and report on risk factors, ensuring timely interventions.
  • Develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures in line with industry standards.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to enhance operational integrity.
  • Support the development of training materials and conduct workshops on risk awareness.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to refine risk management practices.
  • Prepare detailed risk reports for stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Risk Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Experience with risk management frameworks and methodologies, including ISO 31000.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with fraud detection and prevention strategies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.

  • Experience in the payments or financial services industry.
  • Certifications related to risk management (e.g., CRISC, CISA).
