About the Role

We're looking for a talented Remote Product Designer II to join our innovative team at Datadog. In this role, you will focus on creating user-centric designs that enhance our product offerings. As a Remote Product Designer II, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our solutions meet the needs of our users while aligning with business goals.

What You'll Do

• Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our products, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and implement innovative solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and users to refine the user experience.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and best practices to continuously enhance our product design.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in designing for SaaS products.
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
