Remote Paralegal - Legal Support for Personal Injury Cases

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Remote Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support in personal injury cases, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible representation. As a Remote Paralegal, you will work closely with attorneys and clients, utilizing innovative legal technology to streamline processes and enhance client communication.

What You'll Do

• Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents and case files for personal injury litigation.
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case strategies.
• Manage and organize case documentation, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and answering inquiries.
• Utilize Clio and other legal technology tools to manage case workflows and documentation.
• Review and analyze medical records and insurance claims to support client cases.
• Prepare for depositions and trials by organizing exhibits and witness lists.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all legal matters.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal or in a similar legal support role.
• Strong understanding of personal injury law and litigation processes.
• Proficiency in legal research and document preparation.
• Experience with Clio or similar case management software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in estate planning or workers' compensation cases.
