About the Role

Join Planet Technologies as a Remote Modern Workplace Collaboration Consultant and play a pivotal role in enhancing productivity through innovative workplace solutions. As a key member of our Modern Workplace Collaboration Team, you will support impactful projects that benefit our country. This position allows you to work remotely while making a significant difference in how organizations leverage Microsoft technologies.

What You'll Do

• Consult with clients to design, develop, configure, and deploy SharePoint and other Microsoft solutions.
• Utilize your expertise in Office 365, including Copilot, to articulate business transformation using the Microsoft Cloud.
• Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in modern workplace solutions, ensuring optimal use of SharePoint and the Microsoft technology stack.
• Communicate advanced knowledge of the Office 365 collaboration stack, including SharePoint, Microsoft 365 Groups, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Interface with clients professionally, understanding their business goals and workflows to enhance collaboration, productivity, and security.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address client needs proactively.
• Understand enterprise-scale systems built on Microsoft technologies in both on-premises and cloud-based environments.
• Assist in migrating file shares and cloud-based file repositories to Office 365.

Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience with Microsoft technologies, particularly Office 365 and SharePoint.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with PowerShell, including Microsoft Office 365 native modules and community modules.
• Ability to work independently or within a small team, delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Experience working for a technology consulting firm or software product company.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Azure platform, including Entra ID.
• Understanding of the Microsoft VIVA suite.
