About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Remote Loan Processor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing loan applications and ensuring a smooth processing experience for our clients. As a Remote Loan Processor, you'll play a crucial role in the mortgage process, working closely with loan officers and clients to gather necessary documentation and facilitate timely approvals.

What You'll Do

• Review and process loan applications efficiently, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
• Communicate with clients and loan officers to gather required information and address any questions.
• Conduct due diligence and quality control reviews to ensure compliance with lending guidelines.
• Assist in the underwriting process by providing necessary documentation and insights.
• Maintain detailed records of loan processing activities and client communications.
• Utilize mortgage processing software to track applications and manage workflows.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the loan processing journey.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in mortgage regulations.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience as a Loan Processor or in a related field.
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, including FHA, VA, and conventional loans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Proficient in using mortgage processing software and tools.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Knowledge of NMLS licensing requirements is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with DSCR loans and fix-and-flip financing.
• Familiarity with underwriting processes and guidelines.
• Previous experience in customer service or sales roles.
