About the Role
We're hiring a Remote Inventory Buyer to join Odeko's mission of supporting local cafes and coffee shops. As a vital part of our team, you'll be responsible for procurement, inventory management, and vendor relations, helping us streamline operations and drive efficiencies.
What You'll Do
- Manage procurement responsibilities including purchasing, forecasting, and inventory management.
- Oversee purchase order management and vendor management for third-party service providers.
- Collaborate with the Procurement Operations Manager to support procurement operations.
- Develop deep knowledge of inventory products and supplier management.
- Conduct cycle counts and manage non-inventory flow and space models.
- Provide procurement insights to align with building leadership and local sales teams.
- Drive efficiencies and improvements at multiple warehouse sites.
- Engage in minimal travel as needed to support operations.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in inventory management or procurement.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast and manage inventory levels.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.
- Experience with procurement software and inventory management systems.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
