Remote Functional QA Engineer - Join a Global Team

About the Role

We are looking for a Remote Functional QA Engineer to join our dynamic team at Inetum. As a key member of our agile team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work with a global team of technologists dedicated to digital transformation. You will play a crucial role in our clients' success by developing and executing test cases, performing functional testing, and collaborating closely with product managers and developers.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for functional, API, and stress testing.
• Communicate progress and findings to Product Management and Project Managers.
• Review functional documentation and user stories to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Collaborate with software development teams to execute visual and logical testing.
• Utilize tools such as Postman for API testing and Git for version control.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure the quality of software products through rigorous testing methodologies.
• Engage in ongoing communication with team members to resolve issues and enhance product quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing and implementation.
• Proficient in continuous integration tools such as Git and Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of databases, specifically SQL Server and Oracle.
• Experience with stress testing distributed applications and API testing.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model based in San Isidro, Lima, Peru.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the healthcare or insurance sector.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages.
• Familiarity with test automation tools.
