About the Role

At Inflection AI, we are seeking a Remote Fullstack Engineer to join our innovative team. Our mission is to harness the power of AI to improve human well-being and productivity. As a Remote Fullstack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in pioneering the next era of AI, characterized by agents we trust to act on our behalf. This position offers the opportunity to work on human-centered AI models that combine emotional intelligence (EQ) and raw intelligence (IQ), transforming interactions from transactional to relational.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement scalable backend systems and APIs that power production LLM experiences, including agentic workflows, memory systems, and tool integrations.
  • Build and operate high-availability infrastructure to support real-time inference, retrieval, and conversation pipelines.
  • Develop internal platforms to improve engineering productivity, including CI/CD pipelines, service templates, observability frameworks, and more.
  • Collaborate across research, product, and infrastructure teams to enable rapid iteration, high reliability, and secure delivery of novel AI features to millions of users.
  • Ensure the stability of our production systems and directly impact the pace of product development.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer, with a focus on backend development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Go.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of API design and microservices architecture.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with large-language models (LLMs) and AI technologies.
  • Familiarity with emotional intelligence frameworks in AI.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
