About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Remote Financial Aid Coordinator to join our team at the California Institute of Applied Technology. What You'll Do

• Assist students in understanding their financial aid options and eligibility.
• Coordinate Title IV packaging and VA certifications in compliance with federal regulations.
• Conduct data analysis to improve financial aid processes and student outcomes.
• Provide exceptional customer service to students and families regarding financial aid inquiries.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Manage billing, collections, and insurance processes related to financial aid.
• Support curriculum development and online teaching initiatives as needed.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills as a Remote Financial Aid Coordinator.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in financial aid coordination or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of federal financial aid regulations and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Experience in customer service and education management.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with online teaching and curriculum development.
• Familiarity with financial analysis and accounting principles.
• Knowledge of vendor management and financial operations.
