About the Role

We are seeking a Remote ERP Systems Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be the strategic owner of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for Finance, managing it as a critical business system. This is a unique opportunity to drive future customizations and ensure alignment with development practices, including structured release, sprint, QA, and change management processes.

What You'll Do

  • Manage Business Central as the primary business system, developing a forward-looking enhancement roadmap.
  • Align ERP development with data engineering and AI initiatives across the organization.
  • Coordinate structured release cycles, sprint planning, and change management.
  • Prioritize and manage requirement backlog and solution design.
  • Oversee daily system operations, performance, and availability.
  • Configure users, permissions, security roles, and system modules.
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain data integrity.
  • Manage relationships with Microsoft partners and third-party vendors.
  • Coordinate QA processes, including regression testing and validation.
  • Train users and develop guides on ERP best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (on-prem or cloud).
  • Deep understanding of financial and operational processes.
  • Experience with development lifecycle management, including sprint planning and release management.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, SQL queries, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong vendor and partner management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience in a B2B environment and understanding of enterprise tech architecture.
