Remote Director of Medical Information - Biopharmaceuticals

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Director of Medical Information to join Kyverna Therapeutics, a pioneering biopharmaceutical company focused on innovative cell therapies for autoimmune diseases. In this role, you will define and execute the global Medical Information strategy aligned with Medical Affairs and company objectives. As a leader in the field, you will ensure the timely and accurate dissemination of medical and scientific information to various stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Define and execute the global Medical Information strategy, ensuring alignment with Medical Affairs and company objectives.
• Oversee the creation of scientifically accurate and compliant medical response content, including FAQs and standard response documents.
• Manage the Medical Information Call Center, focusing on vendor oversight, quality assurance, and performance metrics.
• Lead Medical Information readiness for product launches, including infrastructure development and content creation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support scientific exchange and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide medical review of company materials to ensure scientific accuracy and alignment with approved labeling.
• Support Field Medical teams with training and content development, incorporating emerging clinical data and insights.
• Ensure inspection readiness and support audits related to Medical Information activities.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific or medical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent).
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in Medical Information or Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and outsourced Medical Information operations.
• Deep knowledge of Medical Information regulations and compliance standards (FDA, EMA).
• Experience with complex therapies such as cell and gene therapies is strongly preferred.
• Excellent scientific communication skills and strong strategic thinking abilities.
• Ability to manage complexity in fast-paced environments.

Nice to Have

• Global or ex-US experience.
• Prior experience building or scaling a Medical Information function in a growing biotech organization.
